What's inside.
And why.

ActiveWhat it does
Carrageenan and konjac root
Seaweed and konjac are the gel itself. They are what makes a hydrogel hold its shape, stay cool and cling to the curve under your eye instead of sliding off like a paper mask.
Glycerin
Second on the list, right after water. A humectant that pulls water towards the skin — and here it has fifteen minutes to do it, held in place under a seal.
Panthenol
Pro-vitamin B5. Soothing, and it is what makes skin feel comfortable rather than tight afterwards.
Rooibos leaf
Aspalathus linearis — the antioxidant in the formula, the same plant as the tea.
Cherimoya fruit extract
Third on the list, ahead of most of the formula. An unusual choice and one of the few things that sets this apart from every other patch.
Sodium hyaluronate
Hyaluronic acid, in the form that dissolves in water.

What it does. And how.

— Why it works
· 01

An eye cream has to sink in and then fend for itself.

· 02

A hydrogel patch does something a cream cannot: it seals.

· 03

For fifteen minutes the glycerin, panthenol and hyaluronic acid are held against the skin with nowhere to evaporate to, and the cold of the gel does the rest.

· 04

That is the whole mechanism — no actives you have to build up to, nothing to react with.

· 05

It is why patches are a pause and not a routine step.

— How to use

Simple steps. Real results.

01

On clean, dry skin. One patch under each eye, curved side towards your nose, pressed down at the edges so it makes contact all the way round.

02

Leave on for about fifteen minutes. Longer does not do more — once the gel starts to dry it takes moisture back with it.

03

Take them off and tap the remaining serum into the skin. No rinsing, and nothing needs to come after it.

04

Keep the box in the fridge if you want them colder. Cold is half of why they work in the morning.

— Questions

Honest answers.

What is a hydrogel patch?+

A patch made of gel rather than fabric. Here the gel is carrageenan and konjac root — seaweed and a root vegetable. It is heavier than a cloth mask, so it stays put, it holds cold, and it seals what is underneath it against the skin.

Do they help with puffiness?+

They make it look less pronounced, mostly through cold and hydration, and the effect lasts a few hours rather than a day. Anyone promising more from a patch is selling you something else.

How long do I leave them on?+

About fifteen minutes. Not longer — once the gel begins to dry out it takes moisture back with it, so falling asleep in them works against you.

Can I use them twice?+

No. They give up their serum in one go, and a used patch is a place for bacteria to sit. One pair per use, seven uses per box.

Should I keep them in the fridge?+

You do not have to, but it helps. Cold is half of the effect in the morning, and the box is small enough to sit in the door.

Do they contain fragrance?+

No parfum is added — read the list below and you will not find it. Geraniol and linalool are declared at the end because they occur naturally in the plant extracts, so if you react to those specifically, this is not the one.

When do I use them?+

Before make-up, or before anything you would rather not look tired for. They go on before your eye cream, not instead of it.
