Een warm terracotta nude — de kleur van volle zon op baksteen, en daar komt de naam vandaan. Aards in plaats van oranje, en op warmere huid leest hij als een nude, op koelere huid als een kleur.
Mat, maar niet het soort dat je lippen als papier laat aanvoelen: rijstzemelolie, castorolie en sheaboter zitten onder het pigment, dus de kleur blijft zitten zonder dat je lippen ervoor betalen.

A matte finish is normally bought at a price: take the oils out of a lipstick and the colour sits flat and stays put, but your lips pay for it by the afternoon.
This one keeps a nourishing base underneath the pigment, so you get the finish without the tightness.
It is the reason the formula is worth more than the shade.

For a softer, worn-in finish: one pass, then press your lips together once with a tissue between them.

What colour is Noon exactly?+
A warm terracotta nude — earthy rather than orange. On warmer skin it reads as a nude; on cooler skin it reads as a colour.
Will it dry out my lips?+
Less than most matte lipsticks. Rice bran oil, castor oil and shea butter are the first ingredients on the list, where a typical matte formula puts waxes and silicones. Any matte still shows dry patches, so exfoliate first if your lips are flaking.
Does it have a scent?+
Yes, a faint sweet one. Parfum is on the list, along with vanillin and orange peel oil, and limonene is declared as an allergen at the end. If you react to fragrance, this is not the one.
Is it vegan?+
Yes, and you can check it on the label. The waxes are sunflower, rice bran and Rhus fruit — no beeswax — and the colour comes from iron oxides, titanium dioxide, mica and manganese violet, not from carmine.
How does it compare to Dusk?+
Noon is warm and terracotta, Dusk is cool and rosy. Underneath they are the same formula — only the pigments differ. If you normally reach for nude or brown, take Noon; if you reach for pink, take Dusk.
How long does 4 g last?+
Daily use, roughly eight to twelve months. Once opened, use within the period shown by the open-jar symbol on the base.
